Review by hotel critic
A Judicious Choice Amid Tranquility During my recent stay at Palazzo Cocó in Maiori, I found it to be a balanced blend of value and comfort, ideal for ocean enthusiasts like myself. Nestled on a hill, the views are striking-worth every bit of the legwork involved in tackling the stairs. While concern about the ascent lingered, I discovered it manageable, especially when broken up with leisurely walks. Antonio's hospitality is noteworthy; he not only assisted with luggage but also catered to dietary needs at breakfast. The culinary offerings included hearty cappuccinos and a variety of filling options-traditional for a B&B but exceeded expectations. My room was well-kept, featuring essential amenities like air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and reliable Wi-Fi, facilitating both relaxation and productivity for those needing to work remotely. While the hotel does not provide a shuttle service, the proximity to transport options made excursions easy. Palazzo Cocó offers a sensible choice for exploring the Amalfi Coast, especially considering the hustle and bustle of larger tourist areas. For the discerning traveler seeking tranquility, it is an option worth considering.
